Surrounded by nature, the manor farm "Lo Scuro" has on one side the beautiful town of Uggiano la Chiesa and on the other, Porto Badisco a small natural fiord which was the landing place of Aeneas. Today, after being totally restored, the farm still keeps its original style from the 1400s. "Lo Scuro" is a historical and fascinating place, full of tradition which offers to its guests the colours and the perfumes of Salento. This area, close to Otranto, inherits much of its history from being a passage from eastern Europe to the west which is reflected in its rich culture
